Danila Ubaldi

Prior to founding WordWays, where she's currenly in charge of business management and development, Danila Ubaldi was Country Manager and Member of the Board for Lionbridge Italy, the Italian branch office of Lionbridge International Inc. and formerly Bowne Global Solutions Italy. Prior to Bowne, she was Operations Manager for Berlitz GlobalNet Italy, a localization company that she set up in Rome in 1996.

With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, before starting her long career in senior management roles for world-leading US-based translation companies Danila Ubaldi served as Localization Project Manager on Microsoft projects and worked at the localization center of Microsoft WPGI in Dublin, Ireland.

Fluent in Italian, English and Spanish, she holds a degree in Modern Languages from La Sapienza University of Rome and a degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters.
