Marilù Magliulo co-founded WordWays with Danila Ubaldi in 2016 and is currently responsible for Operations. Prior to starting the company she was PM Group Manager at Lionbridge Italy, the Italian branch office of Lionbridge International Inc., Language Quality and Vendor Manager for Bowne Global Solutions Italy and Senior Project Manager for Berlitz GlobalNET Italy since this company was founded in 1996.
Mariù Magliulo started her career as a Terminologist on IBM projects in 1990, then moved to Dublin, Ireland, in 1993 where she worked at the localization center of Microsoft WPGI. Having spent more than two decades in a variety of operational management roles in international companies, Marilù Magliulo brings her precious industry experience, spanning across language services, project management, quality control and vendor management.
Fluent in Italian, English and French, she received her Degree in Translation at the École de Traduction et d’Interprétation at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, where she also received a Certificate of specialization in Computer Aided Translation.
